Andrea Iannone couldn't say no to MotoGP / Superbike World Championship
Andrea Iannone is back in the motorcycle saddle. The Italian will compete in the Superbike World Championship for the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati team in 2023. Iannone last competed in MotoGP in 2020 for Aprilia. He was banned for four years for doping in 2021, but the ban was reduced to 18 months on appeal.
Iannone is a two-time MotoGP race winner and has finished on the podium 19 times. He is known for his aggressive riding style and his ability to get the most out of his Ducati. Iannone is expected to be a title contender in the Superbike World Championship.
Iannone is excited to be back racing. He said, "I'm very happy to be back on a bike and to be racing again. I've missed the competition and the adrenaline. I'm confident that I can be competitive in the Superbike World Championship. I'm going to give it my all and see what we can achieve."

The Aruba.it Racing - Ducati team is one of the most successful teams in the Superbike World Championship. The team has won the championship 17 times. Iannone will be joined on the team by Michael Rinaldi. Rinaldi is a former Superbike World Championship race winner. He finished fourth in the championship in 2022.
The Superbike World Championship season begins on February 25th at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in Australia. Iannone is expected to be one of the top contenders for the championship.
