Suspicion of attempted murder - man fires several shots from a moving car
Ulm (ots) - After the shots fired from a moving car on Wednesday morning in Ulm, the police carried out a large-scale operation with the SEK on Thursday. A 32-year-old man was arrested as a suspect.
According to the police, the man is said to have fired several shots from a BMW in the Ulm district of Wiblingen on Wednesday morning. Witnesses had reported seeing a dark BMW with Reutlingen license plates leaving the scene at high speed.
The police were able to identify the 32-year-old suspect based on the license plate number. Early Thursday morning, SEK forces arrested the man at his home in Ulm. During a search of the apartment, the police found a toy weapon that looked like a real firearm.
The man is now being investigated for attempted murder. The police are still investigating the exact circumstances of the crime.
