Dresden, 23rd February 2023
The Hope Gala in Dresden was again a complete success: almost 180,000 euros were collected for the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund and other aid projects in South Africa
The 14th edition of the Hope Gala took place on Saturday evening in the Kempinski Hotel Taschenbergpalais in Dresden. Prominent personalities from politics, business, culture and society came together to support the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund and other aid projects in South Africa.
Under the motto "Celebrating Hope - 18 Years of Hope Gala Dresden", the guests experienced an unforgettable evening with a varied program. The highlight was the auction of unique items, such as a painting by Nelson Mandela or a trip to South Africa.
The proceeds of the gala will benefit the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund and other aid projects in South Africa. The Nelson Mandela Children's Fund is a non-profit organization that supports disadvantaged children in South Africa. The organization provides children with access to education, healthcare and other essential services.
The Hope Gala Dresden is one of the largest charity events in Germany. Since its inception in 2006, the gala has raised over 2 million euros for aid projects in Africa.
The gala was organized by the Dresden Hope Gala e.V. association, which is committed to helping children in need in Africa. The association was founded in 2005 by the Dresden entrepreneur Joachim Schaaf.
