EC Peiting wins local derby against SC Riessersee

Peiting wins 4-1 in ice hockey Oberliga derby

EC Peiting has won the local derby in the ice hockey Oberliga against SC Riessersee 4-1 (0-1, 3-0, 1-0). The hosts started the game better and took an early lead through Lubor Dibelka (7th). The guests from Peiting then came into the game better and better and turned the game around in the second period with goals from Manuel Edfelder (23rd), Nico Strodel (29th) and Max Lukes (31st). In the final third, Maximilian Nerger (45th) scored the final goal for the guests.

Strong start from Riessersee, but Peiting comes back strong

The hosts started the game better and had more of the game in the early stages. This was rewarded in the 7th minute when Dibelka scored to give Riessersee the lead. However, the guests from Peiting gradually came into the game and created more and more chances. In the 23rd minute, Edfelder equalized for Peiting, and just six minutes later, Strodel put the guests in the lead. Lukes then made it 3-1 in the 31st minute and gave Peiting a comfortable lead going into the second break.

In the final third, Peiting continued to control the game and did not allow Riessersee to get back into the game. In the 45th minute, Nerger scored the final goal for the guests, making it 4-1 for Peiting. The hosts tried to come back, but the Peiting defense held firm and secured the derby victory.

With the win, Peiting moves up to sixth place in the Oberliga standings, while Riessersee remains in eighth place.
