Eintracht Frankfurt 0:0 VfL Bochum: Eagles held in goalless draw
Bundesliga: Eintracht Frankfurt dropped points in the race for the top four as they were held to a goalless draw by VfL Bochum on Saturday.
The Eagles created a number of chances but were unable to find the back of the net, with Bochum goalkeeper Manuel Riemann making a number of saves to deny the hosts. Sebastien Haller forced Riemann into a smart stop in the first half, while Ansgar Knauff had a shot cleared off the line in the second half.
Bochum had their own chances to win the game, with Gerrit Holtmann coming closest when he hit the post in the second half. However, Eintracht Frankfurt held on to claim a point and remain in fifth place in the Bundesliga table.
