Erster BVB-Titel futsch: "Da geht es nicht um mich"
Haaland-Ausfall wiegt schwer - Terzic hadert mit Chancenwucher
In the Supercup against Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund had to admit defeat in front of 75,000 spectators. The miners lost 3:1 (0:0) and thus missed the first title of the season.
This means that BVB remains undefeated against Bayern under coach Marco Rose, but has now lost the third competitive match in a row and missed out on the Supercup for the fourth time in a row.
BVB efficiency is not enough
Dortmund played well in front of an impressive backdrop, but was not efficient enough in the end. Donyell Malen scored the lead for the black and yellow (74th minute), but then Jamal Musiala (77th), Sadio Mane (83rd) and Benjamin Pavard (90+5th) turned the game in favor of Bayern Munich.
In addition to Jude Bellingham, who missed the match due to a knock, BVB had to do without Erling Haaland due to a muscle injury. Top scorer last season had prepared all three goals in the 3-1 win in the DFB Cup final against RB Leipzig, but could not play in the Supercup.
