Fire Department Contains Fire in Osterweddingen
Conflagration in Börde Quickly Extinguished
Firefighters in the Börde district of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, were called to Osterweddingen on Tuesday afternoon to extinguish a fire that had broken out in a building.
The fire brigade was alerted at 15:23 and arrived on the scene a short time later. The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished.
No one was injured in the fire, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Statement from the Fire Department
"We are pleased that we were able to quickly contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to other buildings," said a spokesperson for the fire department.
"We would like to thank the residents of Osterweddingen for their cooperation during the operation."
