Stolen Caravan Found at Border
Police have recovered a stolen caravan that was taken from a campsite in Cornwall.
The caravan was found on the back of a lorry at the Port of Dover.
The caravan was reported stolen from a campsite in St Austell on Monday, August 14. The thieves cut the lock on the caravan and towed it away.
Police were able to track down the caravan using the tracker that was fitted to it. The caravan was found on the back of a lorry that was about to leave the country.
The lorry driver has been arrested and is currently in police custody.
The caravan has been returned to its owner, who is delighted to have it back.
The police are urging people to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to them.
