Heavy rainfall, floods, and hailstorms: Spain battered by severe weather
Torrential rains and thunderstorms have caused widespread flooding and damage across Spain, leaving one person dead and several others injured.
The storms, which began on Tuesday, have affected large parts of the country, including the regions of Catalonia, Valencia, Murcia, and Andalusia.
In the eastern region of Catalonia, the city of Barcelona was particularly hard-hit, with streets turned into rivers and cars submerged in water.
The heavy rains have also caused rivers to burst their banks, leading to widespread flooding in many areas.
In the town of Manacor on the island of Mallorca, a flash flood swept away several cars, trapping people inside.
The storms have also caused power outages and disruptions to transport, with many roads and railways closed.
