The ORF premiere of Michael Kreihsl's comedy "Headscarf Mafia" starring Andreas Stipsits was a complete success. 1.164 million viewers (35 percent market share) watched the film on January 12, 2023, making it the most-watched program of the day. The comedy thus significantly surpassed the previous year's hit "Love Machine" (ORF 2022: 862,000 viewers, 30 percent market share) and even the top ORF ratings film of 2021, "Love Machine" (ORF 2022: 862,000 viewers, 30 percent market share).
