Eintracht Frankfurt defeats Köln 4-1 in a thrilling matchup
Eintracht Frankfurt continued their impressive start to the Bundesliga season with a resounding 4-1 victory over Köln on Saturday.
The hosts took the lead in the 20th minute through Daichi Kamada, who fired home from close range after a clever pass from Jesper Lindstrøm.
Frankfurt doubled their advantage just before the break when Randal Kolo Muani tapped in Lindstrøm's cross from the left.
Second-half dominance
Frankfurt continued to dominate after the break, and they extended their lead in the 57th minute when Djibril Sow curled a stunning effort into the top corner.
Substitute Lucas Alario added a fourth goal for Frankfurt in the 86th minute, after being set up by Lindstrøm.
Köln pulled one back through Denis Huseinbašić in the 90th minute, but it was nothing more than a consolation.
