Leipzig native Marie-Sophie Helzel begeistert die Jury der VOX-Show "The Piano". Already in the first episode of the new season, she manages to inspire the jury with her performance. Helzel plays the piano piece "Claire de Lune" by Claude Debussy. With her sensitive and emotional playing, she touches the hearts of the jury members.

After her performance, the jury gives Helzel standing ovations. "You played so incredibly beautifully and emotionally," says jury member Laith Al-Deen. "It was a very special moment for me," adds singer Sarah Connor. The other jury members also praise Helzel's performance. Helzel says she is "overwhelmed" by the positive feedback. "I'm so happy that I was able to touch the hearts of the jury members with my music," she says.

Marie-Sophie Helzel has been playing the piano since she was four years old. She has already won several prizes at national and international piano competitions. In 2021, she released her debut album "Moments".

"The Piano" is a new VOX show in which pianists from all over Germany compete against each other. The jury consists of Laith Al-Deen, Sarah Connor, Moses Pelham and Till Brönner. The winner of the show receives a prize of 100,000 euros.
