Valerie Weber becomes CEO of the ANTENNE BAYERN GROUP

The Supervisory Board of the ANTENNE BAYERN GROUP appointed Valerie Weber as the new CEO of the company with effect from 1 January 2023.

Weber succeeds Martin Breitkopf, who will retire at the end of 2022 after 20 years as CEO.

Weber has been a member of the Executive Board of the ANTENNE BAYERN GROUP since 2019 and has been responsible for the areas of program, marketing and sales.

Before joining ANTENNE BAYERN, Weber held various management positions at RTL Deutschland, among others.

She studied communication science at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich.

Weber is the first woman to head the ANTENNE BAYERN GROUP.

The ANTENNE BAYERN GROUP is one of the largest private media companies in Germany.

The company's portfolio includes the radio stations ANTENNE BAYERN, ROCK ANTENNE, and ANTENNE BAYERN plus, as well as the online platforms ANTENNE BAYERN.de and ROCK ANTENNE.de.

The ANTENNE BAYERN GROUP also operates several event companies and is involved in the production of film and television content.
