Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken: Up to 14 Percent Dividend in 2024
Strong start to the year for cooperative banks
The cooperative banks are continuing their successful course. In the first half of 2023, they generated a consolidated net profit of 4.5 billion euros, an increase of 8.5 percent compared to the same period last year. The banks benefited from the continued high level of customer lending and the stable income from their core business.
Higher dividend for members
The positive business development is also reflected in the dividend payments to the members. The Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken plan to distribute a dividend of up to 14 percent in 2024. This is an increase of one percentage point compared to the previous year. The exact amount of the dividend will be decided at the annual general meetings of the individual cooperative banks.

Despite the current economic uncertainties, the cooperative banks are optimistic about the future. They see themselves well positioned to continue their successful course.
