Özcan Leaves BVB Future Open
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Salih Özcan has left his future at the club uncertain, admitting that he is considering his options.
The 24-year-old has been a key player for Dortmund this season, making 25 appearances in all competitions. However, he has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months, with Arsenal and Manchester United reportedly interested.
When asked about his future, Özcan said: "I am very happy at Dortmund and I am focused on the rest of the season. However, I am also aware of the interest from other clubs and I will consider my options at the end of the season."
Özcan's contract with Dortmund expires in 2026, but it is understood that he could be available for a transfer fee of around €25 million.
Dortmund are keen to keep Özcan, but they are aware that he is ambitious and may want to play for a bigger club. The club are also in a difficult financial position and may need to sell some of their players in order to balance the books.
If Özcan does leave Dortmund, it will be a blow to the club. He has been a key player for them this season and his departure would leave a big hole in their midfield.
