Tram crashes into store in Germany, injuring four

Tram went off the rails, crosses the rails and rams into a pharmacy

On Wednesday morning, a tram went off the rails in Potsdam, Germany, and crashed into a pharmacy. Four people were injured, two of them seriously.

The accident happened around 7:45 a.m. Tram was traveling along the street when it suddenly derailed. It then crossed the rails and crashed into the front of a pharmacy.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. However, it is believed that the tram may have been traveling too fast.

The two people who were seriously injured were taken to hospital. One of them is in a critical condition.

The other two people who were injured were treated at the scene. They have since been released from hospital.

The pharmacy was badly damaged in the accident. The front of the building was completely destroyed.

The accident caused major disruption to traffic in the area. The road was closed for several hours while the tram was removed and the scene was cleared.
